I scanned my site running on Windows 2012 yesterday and I got back these two warnings:
1. ECDH public server param reuse yes
2. DH public server param (Ys) reuse yes
I would like to disable these but I cannot seem to find any information on how to do it. Can anyone help please?
Hi, I'm using ffmpeg for transcodings of my videos on a dedicate server with details:
Some times in transcoding time windows goes to Reconnecting and count up to 20 and then goes to black screen.
I cannot find anythings in windows logs.
And I restart server from button of that server.
What's hapenning?

Trying to connect to VPN server using EAP(PEAP) certificate based authentication. Receive error: "The message received was unexpected or badly formatted." In NPS server event log I can see Event 6273 with reason "A certification chain processed correctly, but one of the CA certificates is not trusted by the policy provider."
We use internal CA. NPS nad RRAS server versions 2016 R2 .

Have DHCP scopes configured in a failover between 2 servers. Unfortunately the primary server failed and had to have its DHCP database restored. Now the primary server doesn't recognise the scopes are in a failover relationship, however fails when trying to configure because its states the failover relationship is already present.
Tried to remove the scopes from the secondary server, however these also fail stating "these scopes are not in a failover relationship", even though the deconfigure failover option is present. Any idea how we could remove the scopes from the secondary server?
I have several servers / pc's that have older versions of C++, some 2005, 08, 2010, and 2012. My assumption is with each major update the older version doesn't get removed. Our vulnerability scanner hits some of these and is finding vulnerabilities in say C++ 2010. But the box has C++ 2012. My questions are two:
1- if C++2012 is on, is it safe to assume that's what is being used and all older versions can just be removed?
2- WSUS has the update for 2010 or 2008 listed as not applicable for the pc in question, is it not applicable because newer 2012 C++ is already there and no need for an update?

Following Dot Net patches not getting installed . However new patches are installing. no issues in windows security patches

Hello, have an issue in a 2008 Forest/domain where a recently demoted 2016 DC is not able to be deleted in DNS. On <g class="gr_ gr_122 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="122" id="122">deletion</g> the record comes back on hitting refresh.
Dcdiag and <g class="gr_ gr_133 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" data-gr-id="133" id="133">repadmin</g> do not seem to have any issues. Two 2016 DCs were introduced but they were not getting any <g class="gr_ gr_134 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" data-gr-id="134" id="134">sysvol</g> or <g class="gr_ gr_135 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" data-gr-id="135" id="135">netlogon</g> folders replicated so both of them were demoted. These 2 demoted DCs are no longer showing up in Domain Controllers OU in AD, I will need to promote them back once I have issue below addressed
Issue I am having is in DNS when I am trying to delete the DNS entries for these 2 demoted DCs (_ldap, _kerberos) on hitting refresh they come back and I am unable to delete any of their SRV records in DNS, this occurs on both of the existing 2012R2 DCs. The demoted DCs are not present under Name Servers any longer

I am seeing the below errors in the system event logs on an IIS server. Has anyone seen this before or know what could be causing it? All our other IIS servers running the same application work fine. This is happening quite a few times each day.
An TLS 1.2 connection request was received from a remote client application, but none of the cipher suites supported by the client application are supported by the server. The SSL connection request has failed.
A fatal alert was generated and sent to the remote endpoint. This may result in termination of the connection. The TLS protocol defined fatal error code is 40. The Windows SChannel error state is 1205.

I'm facing frustrating situation with my windows server 2012 R2.
Since some days, when I restart or shutdown, it gets stuck at restarting screen.
used xbootmgr analyze shutdown events but didn't succeed, didn't create MPR files.
where, in event viewer, see all events related to shutdown procees ?

I have a QGis plugin to solve a vehicle routing problem using ORTools.
When the program gets to the ORTools part, Qgis crashes and leaves an Error Event in Eventviewer, but no stacktrace.
According to this event the crash is caused by ucrtbase.dll. See the screenshot below.
The OS is Windows server 2012 with latest updates.

The Situation: I used msconfig to reboot Windows 2008 Server r2 into safe mode. On rebooting, boot progresses ok and the log in screen appears very quickly, then disappears and the machine reboots. I've tried typing the password very quickly and whether I get it wrong or just can't get enough typed in time, I don't know, but the reboot loop continues. So, i can't log on and can't change safe boot back to normal.
I know Server 2008 uses bcdedit and no longer has a boot.ini, so I don't know if it is still possible manually to amend a boot file so it starts in normal mode again. Can anyone help me to break out of this boot loop without having to resort to anything major, such as reinstallation?
Just to make clear, I haven't updated the system and the only change made was with msconfig to require safe boot on restarting.
