Error message when logging into Windows 7

Hi -

I am trying to login an existing user on my network (Windows Server 2008 Standard).  When I go to a Windows 7 computer and type in the credentials, it gives me the following message:

"The user profile service failed logon.  User profile cannot be loaded"

So far I deleted the profile from the W7 PC and that didn't make any difference.

Has anyone had this issue?
