I recently purchased a server through a vendor and added it to our domain without realizing that the server is running 2008 Foundation. I began receiving the EULA message for exceeding 15+ users on a domain. Since the server did not HAVE to be connected to the domain I removed it from the domain and placed it back on a workgroup. The issue I am having is even after removing the server from the domain and restarting it the message still continues to pop up.
It was not a dc on the domain it was just a server.
How can I resolve this issue if I have already tried to comply with the EULA by removing it from the domain?
