How to Choose the Right Volume License Key for Windows 8 and 2012

I want to be able to activate Windows 8 and Server 2012 in our domain. We currently have a KMS server which activates Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 using the "Windows Operating System - Windows Server(R), VOLUME_KMS_R2_B channel" volume license.

Have been provided Windows 8 and Server 2012 license keys. However, no mention of whether these are the "B channel" variety or not. I can't find any technical articles on microsoft.com updated for the new reality of Windows 8 and Server 2012. Everything is stuck in Windows 7 and 2008 R2 (cf. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee939271.aspx). Please provide a link to the updated KB or Technet article on this new reality.

When I run the slmgr.vbs script on the KMS host using the "-?" option, I find this:

Global Options:
/ipk <Product Key>
Install product key (replaces existing key)
/ato [Activation ID]
    Activate Windows
/dli [Activation ID | All]
Display license information (default: current license)
/dlv [Activation ID | All]
Display detailed license information (default: current license)
/xpr [Activation ID]
Expiration date for current license state

It seems as if I should use the slmgr /ipk option to add the new keys. HOWEVER I DO NOT WISH TO REPLACE EXISTING KEY for Windows Operating System - Windows Server(R), VOLUME_KMS_R2_B channel" since I will continue to activate Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 in this domain.  So I apparently need an option to ADD TO EXISTING KEYS or something like that.

I already installed http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2757817 thinking this might update the help text in slmgr, but it does not.

Please help?  Or is this a question that should be directed to our sales/distribution channel?
