Question, I have 3 physical Windows 2003 standard servers I want to virtualize and move to a new single server running Server 2012 standard Hyper-V. I have read all the MS marketing mentioning you are allowed to run 2 vm's with a Win 2012 standard, but I have read elsewhere that MS is referring to 2 Win 2012 vm's.
What I would like to know (hopefully from someone with Win 2012 standard) how many VM's of other OS's/desktop/linux/etc can be run on Win 2012 standard. Are we limited to 2 VM's also? Say 2 VM's of Win7 or linux or can I run 10 linux servers etc? This info is not clear at all.
Thanks to anyone that knows this answer without a doubt!
